I’m just back from Milan “Superstudio Più”, where some pictures and a video that we produced in the last couple of months are showed.

This photo and video work was for a new brand called SmoothPlane, the project is called “Cutline” and its a line of new furniture designed by Alessandro Busana.

You can see the collection at the Temporary Museum for New Design exhibition “Discovering”

curated by Giulio Cappellini and Gisella Borioli at Superstudio Più, via Tortona 27, Milano Design Week 2012.

This summer I’ve been pretty busy, during the day with Studio Photography and during the night with a lot of Concerts all around north east of Italy.

Right now I’m on a break to be able to leave for my trip in South California, but in the 2nd half of October I’ll be back to shoot the entire concerts season 2011/2012.

Concert Photography it’s a new challenge that I decided to start, I wasn’t really looking for it but I was fascinated to try. It’s a completely new kind of photos for me but sometimes it’s like action photography cause you need to catch really fast and unique moments like it happens with motocross jumps or skateboarding tricks.

I’ve been very lucky to shoot international artists like Korn, Jamiroquai and the show “Notre Dame de Paris” and also a lot of important Italian ones like Jovanotti, Allevi, Cremonini, Pezzali, Amoroso and Modà.

I’m now working full time for a big events company here in Italy and we will see how it goes.

Here I decided to post a recap of just some of the pictures that I took in the last 3 months. Let me know what you think and I hope to be able to grow and lear more even from this experience.

After my new website release, I’m back here to update you with one of my last works.

With digital photography sometimes happen that you see your pictures just on a monitor, so It’s always nice when you find the kind of work, where you actually need to print your pictures.

My last one was one of this, and I was happy to feel the kind of satisfaction, that only a printed picture can give to you.
This project was for a Inline speed skating team and was a full 13 month calendar plus the cover. I had just 10 days to think all the pictures and be ready for the shoot, and another point against me was that we had just 2 hours to set all the people and shoot.
Luckily all the project was already planned so the only problem was to set the people, make them smile and shoot.

Con la fotografia digitale, molte volte capita di vedere le proprie fotografie solamente su un monitor, è sempre bello quindi quando trovi quel tipo di lavoro
dove devi di fatto stampare le foto scattate.
Il mio ultimo lavoro era uno di questi, e sono stato felice di provare quella soddisfazione che solo una fotografia stampata può darti.
Questo progetto era per una società di pattinaggio in linea ed era un’intero calendario da 13 mesi con la relativa copertina. Ho avuto solo 10 giorni per pensare tutte le foto ed essere pronto per scattare, e un altro punto a mio sfavore è stato avere solo 2 ore per preparare tutte le persone e realizzare le foto.
Fortunatamente tutto il progetto era già pianificato, quindi l’unico problema è stato impostare la gente, farli sorridere e scattare.
